There are 6 routes in Taipei MRT system, but only two metro lines pass through Taipei Main Station. The Red Line (Tamsui-Xinyi Line) and Blue Line (Bannan Line) are the most important routes in Taipei MRT system. When commuters and visitors get to Taipei, they will use the Red Line or Blue Line to arrive at their destination or transfer to the other metro Lines. On the other hand, if you are a tourist and need to travel around Taipei, you have to learn how to take Taipei MRT, especially the Red Line and Blue Line.
Red Line – Tamsui-Xinyi Line
